Biri-LAROSA PAMB approves project concept of the Philippine Ports Authority

DENR 8 Regional Executive Director Lormelyn E. Claudio, CESO IV, presides over the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) Meeting of the Biri-LAROSA Protected Landscape and Seascape. The PAMB passed a resolution granting clearance to the project concept entitled "Proposed Lavezares Seaport of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) located at Sitio Villaflores, Brgy. Villa, Lavezares, Northern Samar," subject to an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC), Area Clearance, and Special-Use Agreement within Protected Area (SAPA). The approved PAMB resolution is a pre-requisite for the establishment of the proposed seaport project within the Biri-LAROSA Protected Landscape and Seascape.
