The newly installed Regional Executive Director of DENR Region 8, Lormelyn E. Claudio, visited Region 8’s provincial and community environment and natural resources offices for her first interface with the field personnel.

In her visits, she encouraged the DENR personnel to always uphold the divine mission of being the caretakers of the environment and influencers towards protecting the environment and natural resources. She also underscored the importance of innovating and adopting new technology for a more effective and efficient delivery of service.

RED Claudio likewise reminded the personnel to maintain a strong work ethic guided by the biblical verse 1 Corinthians 10:31 which aptly states, "whatever you do, do it for the glory of God."

She thanked the field personnel for the warm welcome accorded to her and expressed high hopes for better collaboration and success in addressing issues and concerns and in carrying out programs, projects, and activities under her lead.
