DENR Eastern Visayas paid honor and tribute to twenty-three (23) retirees through the Salamat, Mabuhay Program.

The retirees received Certificates of Recognition and tokens for their distinctive and dedicated service to the DENR. They also received their retirement benefits from the K4-EVDENREU.

DENR VIII Regional Executive Director Arturo Fadriquela thanked the retirees and assured them that the current workforce will strive to perform meritoriously as they continue the functions of the retirees.

Recognizing their time at the DENR, Director Fadriquela says, "the retirees will always be part of the DENR family."

Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Arturo N. Salazar encouraged the retirees to visit the DENR and continue to update themselves on the DENR programs and projects. "Our doors are always open for you. You are always welcome to visit DENR, your home," he says.

Meanwhile, Ms. Dionesia Elizaga, a retiree, thanked the DENR for putting premium on their dedication and hardwork. She reminded her fellow retirees to manage their time and resources efficiently now that they are free of tension and office works.

The Salamat, Mabuhay Program is a simple ceremony held by the Department to honor and recognize the contributions of the retiring employees pursuant to Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 7, series of 1998.
