ENRA ENHANCING CAPABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

Some twenty-four (24) learners from DENR Eastern Visayas attend the ENR Academy Basic Course offered by the office through the Human Resource and Development Section (HRDS).

The ENR Basic Course provides modules on the DENR in retrospect, ENR Laws, Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability in Public Service, and Service Excellence.

The training serves as a formal orientation for newly hired employees about DENR policies, programs and projects, as well as the ethical standards that government employees must adhere to. For those who have been working in the department, the training provides an opportunity for enhancing competencies and continuous improvement in public service delivery.

The learners of the ENR Basic Course Training being conducted from August 1–7, 2022 at the Samar Island Natural Park (SINP) compose the 7th Batch of ENR Academy learners in DENR Region VIII since the learning program’s implementation in 2019. The DENR VIII aims to cascade the ENR Academy courses to all its employees.
