Recognizing the great role of the youth in environmental protection, a tree planting activity was spearheaded by Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Biliran during the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2022.

The tree-planting activity which planted around 300 mahogany seedlings in Brgy.Villaconsuelo, Naval, Biliran was participated by over a hundred participants composed mainly of different youth groups such as Naval Youth Club, Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT), 4-H Club, Apo Fraternity and Sorority, government agencies including uniformed personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the academe.
