PENRO Grace B. Gravoso is the first female PENR Officer of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, Catbalogan City, Samar (PENRO Samar).
Prior to her designation as the OIC-PENR Officer of PENRO Samar, she was the Chief of Technical Services Division of the said office.
PENRO Grace started her career in DENR in 1989 as a Clerk II, then as Special Investigator I of Regional Office VIII where she was tasked to investigate violations of environmental laws, rules and regulations.
She became an Land Management Officer III (LMO III) at Community Environment and Natural Resources Office, Catbalogan City (CENRO Catbalogan) from 2002-2015 with brief stops at the Regional Office VIII and Land Administration and Management Project 2 Project Coordinator Office, Leyte (LAMP2-PCO, Leyte) which leads her eventual designation to PENRO Samar.
Comes 2015, Ms. Grace B. Gravoso was promoted to Development Management Officer V (DMO V) at PENRO Samar assuming the leadership position of the Technical Services Division.
Next, she briefly served as the OIC, CENR Officer at Palo, Leyte on March-April 2018 before the being recalled to her mother unit.
Presently, she is currently serving as the OIC, PENR Officer since November 22, 2018 in compliance to S.O. No. 422 and reaffirmed by DENR Central Office Special Order No. 2019-203 on March 19, 2019 issued by DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu.
She obtained her AB Political Science (1985) and Bachelor of Laws (1989) at the Divine Word University. She also finished Master's in Management at Leyte Normal University on 2000.
